SALAMA and the EUROPEAN UNION
The European Union, one of the SALAMA’s founders, has provided its support through a recapitalization project, falling within the framework of
the ‘PASSOBA-Santé’ programme and implemented by the AFD and the Unicef.
With the working capital allocated by the European Union, SALAMA had the opportunity to increase its health supply stock, which has significantly
improved the availability of health supplies in health facilities.
Also through this ‘PASSOBA-Santé’ programme, SALAMA’s warehouse has been equipped with new materials.
In addition, the Malagasy population benefits from the medecines distributed by SALAMA even in the most remote areas, thanks to the four
(04) off-road trucks endowed by the European Union.
In 2018, with the support of the European Union and the French Development Agency (AFD), SALAMA was endowed with a new headquarter
located in the Anosiala rural commune.
